Alhamdulillah, for the forth year in a row, MK Portal Annual Dinner was able to be held succesfully. And, boy what a night it was. One to remember.
As part of the committee, I was entrusted with the entertainment for the night. Like the year before, I was to form MK Band and perform. Since our band had to downsize for this year's showcase, I had to take on the role as the band's front man. With practice hours totaling up to next to non, you can't blame us for being nervous. But thanks to Mr Jack's famous home made brew and a little help from the devil's nectar, we managed to pull it off.
After all the fun and games, I was really spent.
Next day, I woke up very late and decided just to stay at home.
Was supposed to go for a film shoot that day but I didn't. I know right now, someone is really pissed with me. Well, I'm not gonna make any excuse but just say I'm really x 1000000 sorry.
Back to my mundane story.
Was flicking the TV when I stumble upon Evan Almighty on HBO.
Despite all the politically incorrect jokes and refferences about religion and God, I found this movie to be full of positive messages.
I really like the end part where God (Morgan Freeman) explain what ARK means when he had commanded Evan (Steve Carrell) to build an ARK.
"Remember when I asked how do you change the world? It's easy, with one act of random kindness at a time..."
With a stick, God scribles the word ARK on the ground.
Act of Random Kindness = ARK
